This is the refrain to a favorite song: Are you ready for Jesus to come? Are you faithful in all that you do? Have you fought the good fight? Have you stood for the right? Do others see Jesus in you? Are you ready to stand in your place? Are you ready to look in His face? Can you look up and say, "This is my Lord?" Are you ready for Jesus to come?
I have many questions. Why are there so many child abusers? Why do people abuse so many animals?All the innocents! These things drive me crazy.I believe in God but why would he let these things happen?Other wise I give thanks for what I have and try to contribute to causes that help and do a lot of praying.I am a caregiver so my time is not my own. If a child or animal needs my help I would jump right in.
I grew up in a household where my Beloved Father said, "There is no such thing as a stupid question." Therefore I have asked questions my whole life and have so many I couldn't begin to list them all here. I do have a question about what your purpose was in having us answer these questions and what you intend to do with them. Can you somehow share that with us? I do thank you for each of them as they have been thought provoking and therapeutic. God Bless you, My Dear Young Friend!
How will I die and when? Will I precede my husband in this, or he, me? Will I be achingly lonely? Is this the last place I will live before entering eternity?
In the meantime, how will I redeem the time? Will I dream of the life I could have had, if I had been a doer, instead of a dreamer?
Dear Friends of Window Question, Cortney, Doll, Jennifer, Jamie, Carson, Ruth Ann, Tom, and all of you who remained anonymous;
I looked forward to reading your comments. I shall not forget that I need a headdress to be a leader, but wonder what effect that will have on my reputation?

Where are we headed as a society..."reality shows", no accountability, hand me this, give me that, buy what you can't aford on credit - just because you "have to have it," LACK of volunteerisim...
Oh goodness... Currently, Lane has got me doing a lot of thinking about how to reign in humanities push for greater informational entropy, especially as it relates to our personalities.
Carson, So how do we begin? Within ourselves I suppose, but how do we curb our impulse for information? The "third person" (access to technological input) is ubiquitous, and it would seem we are headed for an entropy of the ages. An extended power shortage would certainly change humanities perspectives and desire. Do you think a power fast would improve our relationships with one another?
I am not sure how we begin really. I am only making things worse with my work, that is for sure. We probably cannot stop it either. Entropy is pretty much a given, but it seems like with information we may be able to organize it in a way that we can't with physical systems.
Uploading ourselves in to computers build to survive sub-zero vacuums, programmed with a non/low-entropic virtual reality? Who knows?
C.S. Lewis makes the great point that progress does not mean constant forward motion. If you are trying to get to Canada and accidentally start out heading south from Chicago it is more progressive to turn around as soon as you realize your mistake than to just keep progressing southwards. I.E. Progress is relative to a goal, and in our society progress seems to lack clear goals. That kind of behavior is always going to increase entropy and therefore decrease meaning.
Cloudy feeling in your head? Ask God? Sleep, drink lots of clean water, eat fresh food that you prepare yourself, no chemical additives, obviously no recreational drinking or drugs, gentle exercise out of doors every day, a walk is good, no TV or movies, limited internet, time alone, think about who and what you are spending your time on, make changes if necessary, are your friends toxic? If you honestly do all of these things, and still feel cloudy after a few days, go to a Dr. and present your case.
my biggest question--> What am i supposed to be doing? truly, honestly, no-holds-back, don't-be-scared doing. i know god is leading me somewhere, i'm just not sure where that is. i just can't beleive that here, doing what i'm doing now, and living the way i live, is the final stop for me. so i want to know where i'm going.
