  4. Apart from all the necessary work of domestic life: cleaning, laundry, caring for pets, caring for children, shopping, cooking etc. I think that my life is about research. Now on the threshold of 60 I think that my work is about to become my thesis.

  8. My work is about trying to get students to begin to see their world whole - to begin to see the beauty of the 7 Kingdom parables in Matthew 13 and how we need to embrace them all at the same time to even glimpse a taste of this wholeness. My means to try to get there is teaching history - all of it and any of it.
